A PvP map for Fortnite Creative, inspired by the fast-paced combat of DOOM and Unreal Tournament. Initially, I planned to constrain players to a small space but later decided to add a dynamic mechanic to reveal different parts of the map over time.
The core mechanic involves a water volume that recedes every 90 seconds, uncovering new sections of the level. This expands the map vertically, providing players with more movement options, weapons, pickups, and power-ups.
In the final stage, I added a super power-up locked behind a gate that requires activating four buttons placed across the map. The arena is semi-symmetrical, with slight variations like walls and pathways to break the symmetry and add variety to the gameplay.
